JOB TITLE: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Maintenance REPORTS TO: VP of Maintenance
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Conduct, maintains, tests and repairs mechanical, electrical/electronic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Participate in the construction, planning, lay-out, design, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanica l systems, production equipment, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices including but not limited to ; PLC's, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, and other electrical/mechanical equipment by interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams and manufacturers' specifications. Provide guidance and leadership to maintenance workers while administrating company policies and procedures in a clear and consistent manor while establishing a positive work environment. Troubleshoots and repair electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment including but not limited to production lines, programmable controls, numerical co ntrols, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment. Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/e lectronic/mechanical theories and principles, wiring specifications, local and national electric codes, properties of various materials and principles of operation and applicC!tion of electrical equipment. Installs, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and in line with OSHA requirements. Frequently performs equipment testing ensuring equipment is performing to standards. Report any· defective equipment to proper supervision. Make appropriate programming changes as necessary. Informs production operators and maintenance technicians of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and maintain appropriate records. Assist production operations and maintenance technicians with technica l troubleshooting. Other duties as assigned.

This position includes duties that include operating equipment associated with plant facilities, perform

duties. The facility and utilities operator works with the facilities and utilities technician in completing a variety of
tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of the power station, reverse osmosis system, cooling towers, air compressors, HVAC system, waste water system, fire system, and other facility and utility equipment and
systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate and maintain the equipment and systems associated with the facilities and utilities area
Troubleshoot to locate and solve issues on equipment and systems within the facilities and utilities area
Assist in construction of new additions to the facilities and utilities area

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide guidance and leadership to the production operators while administrating company policies and procedures in a clear, consistent, and fair manner while establishing a positive work environment.
Enforce manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in meeting or exceeding its budgeted goals, exceeding customer expectations and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation. Assist in the development and implementation of long and short-range planning, programs and objectives.
Works to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
Provide operator training and ensure production operators have the sufficient tools and equipment necessary to perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Actively participate in any accident, incident, morale, quality and/or delivery investigations.
Plans, organizes and coordinates department team members involved in day/day production activities in support of exceeding the production, safety, delivery, morale, quality, and cost control requirements needs of the organization.
Regularly communicate with team members, maintenance, support departments and fellow supervisors on changes impacting production operations.
Identify, recommend and implement changes by analyzing production operations and recommend alternatives to continuously improve product quality, reduce costs and scrap and implement process improvements. Lead continuous improvement and Kaizan activities. Promote team member involvement activities and provide leadership in quick implementation of change.
Alert department management in a timely manner of cost and labor over run.

Adjust controls to produce copper cathode into specified diameters.
Measure completed copper tubes to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, rulers, etc.
Change tooling on machines according to production specifications.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment.
Feed copper cathode or copper tubing into or through equipment.
Inspect production equipment and copper cathode or copper tubing for quality defects
Mark copper tubing with identifying information.
Measure dimensions of copper tubing to verify conformance to specifications.
Monitor equipment operation to ensure that products are not flawed.
Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
Clean work area.

Provides technical resources for all issues pertaining to product quality. Applies knowledge of quality principles in determining conformance and non-conformance material.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design, document and implement methods for process control, process improvement, product evaluation, testing and inspection. Ensure proper inspections have been performed to ensure product quality. Promote quality standards, inspection processes and test methodology conform to quality plans and customer specifications.
Review customer purchase orders and product specifications and ensure control plans, testing methods and process controls are in place to meet customer requirements. Interface with customer service representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and lead corrective action activities.
Promptly report to department supervision any non-conformance material and defect trend analysis.
Facilitate multiple improvement teams in applying Six Sigma tools and techniques. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams. Assist department management in analyzing defects and developing and implementing corrective actions. Follow through on the implementation of corrective actions.
Facilitate implementation of process control systems and statistical process control charts. Perform trend analysis and report findings to department management. Compile various reports as requested.
Provide oversight and monitor the manufacturer of products to ensure that engineering documentation is consistent with company quality standards.

Read data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, and quantities inspected or graded according to company policies.
Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status.
Promptly notify department supervision of any non-conformance material and defect trend analysis.
Assist department management in recommending necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
Grade, classify, or sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications.
